Yangon International Airport
Surbana Jurong was appointed for the expansion and renovation of the existing amenities in Yangon International Airport. Due to the rapid increase in visitors to Yangon, existing facilities required upgrading and a new terminal was required.
The airport is planned to cater for a projected capacity of up to 6 million passengers per annum.
Surbana Jurong conducted a detailed site survey, in depth terminal and air-side planning to achieve the desired phasing to expand the airport and capacity goals while not impacting on existing airport operations.
