Komodo Regional Airport
Surbana Jurong was approached to assess the expansion of Komodo Airport in Indonesia. This is a part of the initiative to liven up the city as a tourist attraction, as the airport is situated on a difficult site to operate due to the surrounding topography.
An overall review of the preliminary and existing site survey was conducted. Thereafter, Surbana Jurong undertook an in depth Terminal and Airside planning along with Air Traffic Demand forecast to achieve the desired phasing to expand the airport. This study enable the client to move forward with their bid to operate Komodo Airport.
