Lekki New Township Master Plan
With the Lekki Peninsula slated to be the new economic centre of Lagos, Surbana Jurong master planned the 1,560-hectare Lekki New Township, focusing on residential neighbourhoods that would accommodate the demands of Lagos’s expansion programme.
A ‘Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design’ planning technique was also used to increase security and improve the quality of life through effective use of the built environment.
