King Khalid International Airport, Terminal 5

Robert Bird Group was responsible to develop King Khalid International Airport Terminal 5, designed to function initially as a domestic airport with a capacity of up to 10 Million Passengers Per Annum with an option to convert to international airport terminal with a capacity up to 75 Million Passengers Per Annum.

The overall area of the terminal building is approximately 60,000 sqm with a further 7000 sq m for piers. The building acts a decanting facility to allow the renovation of the existing airport and as additional capacity thereafter.
