Jewel Changi Airport
The Jewel development involved the construction of a commercial complex with five basements at Changi Airport, Singapore. The development is a national iconic project and is located at the heart of Changi Airport next to a control tower and having an operating People Mover System (PMS) within the site.
Surbana Jurong provided specialist advisory to Changi Airport with support in Civil, Structural and Geo-technical Engineering.
The iconic retail mall is covered by a circular glass structure, reminiscent of a doughnut, with a large garden located at the center and water falling from the edge of the circular atrium opening.
