Changi East Land Preparation

Spanning 1,080 hectares, the Changi East  development will serve to secure Singapore’s air hub status and ensure its continued  competitiveness and relevance globally. The development includes the future Changi Airport Terminal 5,  Changi East Industrial Zone and three-runway system.

Surbana Jurong was appointed to develop a strong foundation to support airport infrastructure, including mitigating the impact of projected rise in sea levels due to climate change. The scope of work includes managing more than 720  hectares of soil improvement works, re-platforming, land re-grading and site clearance to prepare the site for the upcoming  construction project.
