By tapping on our experience in international airports around the world, we were able to produce a plan that optimised land usage while encompassing the essence of what the city of Doha represents to the region.

The mixed-use development tapped on Qatar’s traditions while permitting a more forward-looking architecture to evolve over time.

This is evident in the development of the business district, entertainment venues, hi-tech business park and residential neighbourhoods.

During design conceptualisation, Surbana Jurong integrated modernity with tradition;  incorporating a warm welcome that an Arabian courtyard would extend to visitors.
