SMEC signs MoU with OGC to extend partnership into South America

SMEC International Pty Ltd of Australia, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Surbana Jurong Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Oriental Consultants Global Co. Ltd (OCG) of Japan to build on OCG and SMEC’s successful partnering in South Asia and Asia Pacific and extend it into the South American region.

The MOU supports SMEC’s strategic growth in South America and aligns with its broader strategy of developing key partnerships to provide clients with enhanced project management benefits and global consultancy services.

The MOU was signed by Eiji Yonezawa, President Oriental Consultants Global, and Andy Goodwin, Chief Executive Officer SMEC Holdings. Stephen Lacey, Deputy General Manager OCG and George Lasek, Chief Operation Officer, Americas SMEC were also present as witnesses for the signing.
