Raffles Hospital
Surbana Jurong secured this project to add an extension to the existing Raffles Hospital.
The extension includes an increase of its gross floor area from 29,000 to 50,000 square metres and an enhancement of 30% existing floor area for Raffles Hospital. One key challenge faced by the structural team was in designing and building two levels of basements which lie within the MRT’s (Mass Rapid Transit) 2nd Reserve Zone.
SMM, a member of the Surbana Jurong Group, has also provided asset integrity management services for Raffles Hospital to ensure that all aspects of operations are functioning effectively and efficiently.
